Fort Myers Girl Competes for Title
of Miss America’s Outstanding Teen
Fort Myers, FL (August 11, 2005) – Miss
Florida’s Outstanding Teen, Sierra Minott, will compete for the title of
Miss America’s Outstanding Teen next week in Orlando. Minott, 17, is a
senior at Fort Myers High School. She is a member of the National Honor
Society, the Rho Kappa Social Studies Honor Society and the Quill and Scroll
Journalism Honor Society. She is also listed in “Who’s Who Among American
High School Students.”
Minott will compete against 51 of the
country’s most talented and beautiful young women in the first Miss
America’s Outstanding Teen Pageant. The pageant will be held August 17-20 at
the Linda Chapin Theater at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando.
