Q: WHEN DO THE TEEN CONTESTANTS NEED TO ARRIVE IN ST. PETERSBURG?
A: TUESDAY, July 1, 2008
6:30 p.m. Teen Registration - Vinoy Hotel (Location TBA)
7:30 p.m. - Orientation - Vinoy Hotel

Q: Do the Teens need to attend the Miss Preliminaries?
A: Yes.

Q: Will the Teens need to purchase a ticket for the Preliminaries
and Finals?
A. No - There will be a reserved section for the Teens to sit
together for the Miss Preliminaries and Finals. YES - IF, THEY ARE
INTERESTED IN SITTING WITH THEIR PARENTS, FAMILIES, EXECUTIVE
DIRECTORS, ETC., A TICKET MUST BE PURCHASED. The ticket which they
will receive to sit in the assigned section cannot be transferred
to another seat or section. This is reserved seating only.

Q: What will the Teens wear for OPENING NUMBER?
A: As previously advised, the Teens will wear red, white or blue
tops provided by the Miss Florida Pageant and denim jeans. The
jeans may be embellished with rhinestones (optional, not required,
and purely a personal taste). Again, the style should reflect that
of a teen -- have fun with it!
SHOES?? Heels of some type! Make certain the Teen can move in
their footwear. BUT PLEASE, NO TENNIS SHOES for OPENING NUMBER.
Earrings will also be provided for the Teen Contestants for
Opening Number.

Q. Will there be a checklist for the Teen Contestants to follow
for paperwork turned in at Orientation?
A. All required paperwork is on the website or will be sent to the
Local Executive Director. A checklist will be sent to each of our
local executive directors and will be posted to the website.

Q. When will the Teen Contestants receive a Schedule for pageant
week?
A. The Miss Florida Pageant Board of Directors are finalizing the
plans for the 2008 State Pageant. The schedule will be given to
all of the Teen Contestants during Orientation Weekend, May 17-18,
2008.
