The Miss Florida Scholarship Competition is dedicated to empowering young women across the Sunshine State to achieve their academic and professional dreams. As an official preliminary to the Miss America Organization, we stand as one of Florida’s premier providers of educational assistance for young women. We are committed to our purpose of helping young women in the state of Florida further their education through scholarship awards for undergraduate, graduate, or postgraduate degrees. Beyond financial support, our program equips participants with essential leadership skills, career development, and a platform to drive meaningful community service throughout Florida.

Since 1935, the Miss Florida Scholarship Competition has championed female ambition, education, and service. Celebrating 90 years of continuous impact, our organization has awarded millions of dollars in scholarships, helping generation after generation of talented young women break barriers and excel in fields ranging from medicine and law to the arts and public service. And we have been committed to this mission since the very beginning. As we look back on nine decades of inspiring success stories, we remain focused on building a brighter future—continuing to uplift tomorrow's leaders, scholars, and changemakers for years to come.
