Established in 1935, the Miss Florida Scholarship Program is an all volunteer organization. It has become a leading advocate for women’s education and is one of the largest providers of scholarship assistance for young women in Florida.
The Miss Florida Scholarship Program is dedicated to empowering young women to achieve their educational goals. A preliminary to the Miss America/Miss America's Teen Competition, the Miss Florida Scholarship program awards candidates the opportunity to advance themselves personally and professionally during their year of service.
The eligible age range for any Miss Delegate Applicant for Competitions at every level of MAO Miss is 18 to 28 years old. To eliminate any doubt, any Miss Delegate Applicant born between 1995 and 2005 are eligible to compete in any Miss level of competition during the 2023 Calendar Year as long as she meets all other eligibility requirements.
The eligible age range for all Teen Delegate Applicants for Competitions at every level of MAO Teen is 13 to 18 years old.
To eliminate any doubt, any Teen Delegate Applicant born between 2005 and 2010 is eligible to compete in any Teen level of competition during the 2023 Calendar Year as long as they meet all other eligibility requirements.
The incredible young women who compete for the titles of Miss Florida and Miss Florida’s Teen volunteer thousands of community service hours each year, making The Miss Florida Scholarship Program one of the largest community service organizations in the state.
