Miss Florida's Teen 2023

Anna-Katherine Risalvato

Anna-Katherine Risalvato, Miss Florida’s Teen 2023, is a recent graduate of J.R. Arnold High School as an honors, AP and dual-enrolled student where she was a four-year Varsity Track and Field Team Sprinter and High Jumper.  She was President of the Got Hope Cancer Support Club and National Honor Society of Dance Arts. Anna-Katherine was Miss Arnold High School, a member of National Honor Society, Beta Club, National Society of High School Scholars, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Early Education Club, Florida 4-H Executive Committee and Everglade’s High School Leadership Committee.  

 

Anna-Katherine is honored to be a recipient of the President’s Volunteer Service Award from the White House, WJHG 850 Strong Student of the Week, WMBB Student Athlete of the Week, Bay County Chamber of Commerce Junior Leadership Bay, Taylor Haugen Foundation Scholarship, Live Like Drew Leadership Award, NSHSS 18 under 18, Panama City Beach Women’s Civic Club Scholarship, Bay Education Foundation Joseph Robert Kinch Scholarship and an Arts Alive Scholarship. She has received multiple National Dance Achievements including the Icon Dance Award and National Tremaine Teen and Senior Cash Overall High Score Soloist.

 

Her Community Service Initiative, Dance 4 All, Inc., is her nonprofit which gives more children a chance to dance by providing scholarships to underserved children.  While volunteering to teach ballet at Girls Inc. and Boys and Girls Club, she recognized the need for more dance in her community.  Anna-Katherine plans to grow her Dance 4 All program to studios all over Florida to give more opportunities for dancers to support dancers.  

 

AK is attending the University of Florida to pursue a Doctorate in Sports Medicine and Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance.  She is on the Gators Dazzlers Dance Team and one day plans to be a Radio City Rockette!

 

In the four years she has participated in the Miss Florida Scholarship Program, Anna-Katherine has earned over $10,000, including preliminary awards and scholarships, in her pursuit to become Miss America’s Teen.
