People's Choice is now open!!
What a great way to show your support of our candidates while you are contributing to the growth of our scholarships.
Let's work together to grow the opportunities for these ladies as
they continue their dreams of a higher education.
Each vote, $1.00 per vote, will advance the candidate closer the crown. The Miss Candidate and the Teen Candidate accumulating the most votes will receive a $500.00 scholarship AND the opportunity to compete in the finals on Saturday, continuing their dreams of becoming Miss Florida or Miss Florida's Teen 2023.
I like that the scholarships are framed as the reason this exists, because that gets lost when people only focus on appearances. Also, I’m curious how contestants balance “branding” with just being themselves — that tension feels real. Total aside, it reminds me of trying to stick to a soft summer color palette guide without letting it take over your whole personality.
Opening People’s Choice is always such a smart way to widen the circle, but I hope folks remember it ultimately supports the scholarship mission and not just the “competition” part. Side note, the way these updates travel around online feels similar to how tool directories spread news — I think I saw something like that on hrefgo before, but anyway the scholarship focus here is the important bit.
People’s Choice always feels like the “social” bridge into what’s actually a pretty serious scholarship program. It’s funny how one announcement can shift attention fast — kind of like how trends blow up out of nowhere, like ghibli ai showing up all over my feed lately, and then everyone’s suddenly talking about it.
The scholarship angle is what I wish more “pageant chatter” focused on — it’s the part that has a concrete ripple effect. Also random, but the way People’s Choice gets explained here reminded me of how a simple system can still have real outcomes, like a quick caesar cipher tool showing how small shifts change everything.
People’s Choice voting always seems to pull in folks who weren’t paying attention before, which is honestly good for the scholarship side of things. Funny contrast: I’ll go from reading about scholarship impact to decompressing with something totally mindless like https://blockblast.co and then back to real life again.
